概要

Derivatization Difficulties with 7-Ketocholesterol, 19-Hydroxycholesterol, and Cholestane3, 5, 6-Triol during Storage

T P Busch

Cholesterol oxide products (COPs) can be found in standards as contaminants or evolve during standard solution storage or analysis. Artifacts are items that have evolved during storage or study. Standard oxides, which are frequently required for routine studies, must remain stable under various storage and analysis circumstances. When stored at 23 2°C, 4°C, and -20°C, solutions of 7-ketocholesterol (7-keto), 19-hydroxycholesterol (19-OH), and cholestane-3,5,6-triol (triol) were tested to see if they remained stable throughout 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 days. The impact of injection number, a confounding variable, might be adjusted using chromatographic findings expressed as LS means. Solutions of 7-ketocholesterol (7-keto), 19-hydroxycholesterol (19-OH), and cholestane-3,5,6-triol (triol) were held at 23 2°C, 4°C, and -20°C for 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 days to check if they remained stable. Using chromatographic findings reported as LS means, the impact of injection number, a confounding variable, may be adjusted.
