In this review article, different articles have been mentioned that have focused not just on common dyslexia but on the different variations of it. How trends in India began and affected the masses when the concept was popularized by the mainstream media. The articles were found using Jstor, Pubmed, Ebsco, Google Scholar, and APA NCBI and various other sources. The articles were searched according to issues like motor control deficits then stress, how it is related to dyslexia and what all emotional experiences does a child has to go through while suffering from dyslexia, so on and so forth. Books like “Biological Psychology” by Kalat has also been referred for the detailed information on the condition. Although there have been advancements in treating dyslexia and the frequency of diagnosis, still there remains a significant research gap when it comes to the emotional aspects, the stress that the parent has to go through, the expectations of the parents the child’s emotional and psychological well-being, etc. Both quantitative and qualitative studies lack in this particular area.
